A Shopify store can only be connected to one Stiddle workspace at a time. This limitation protects data integrity and keeps attribution clean. In rare cases Stiddle can adopt multiple stores in a single worspace. For this, please contact support.

Why the restriction exists

  • Duplicate orders – Connecting the same store twice would import every order twice, inflating revenue metrics.
  • Attribution conflicts – Stiddle would not know which workspace should own conversions, leading to inconsistent reporting.
  • API limits – Shopify webhooks and API calls are rate limited; splitting them across workspaces could delay syncs.

Alternatives

  1. Use workspaces for teams, not stores – Invite collaborators to the workspace that already owns the store and use permissions/labels to separate responsibilities.
  2. Share data externally – Export dashboards or use the API to send Shopify data to another BI tool.
  3. Clone data manually – If you truly need two environments (e.g., testing vs. production), export orders from one workspace and import them via CSV to the other—just avoid connecting the live store twice.

Need to move the store?

  1. Disconnect the store from the current workspace (Settings → Connector → Shopify → Disconnect).
  2. Connect it in the new workspace using the standard Shopify flow.
  3. If you want to preserve historical data, request a data transfer from Support before disconnecting.
